This month, An Elderly Wish Foundation was honored to help grant several meaningful wishes that brought comfort, safety, and lifelong dreams to deserving seniors in our community.

A Safer Path Home

We recently assisted a gentleman living with diabetes whose mobility challenges made navigating his steep driveway increasingly difficult. Our volunteers helped clear out his garage in preparation for the installation of new garage doors and automatic openers. These improvements will allow him to safely enter and exit his vehicle on level ground, helping reduce the risk of falls and making daily life much easier.

Helping with a Difficult Transition

Another senior gentleman diagnosed with Kidney cancer and Dementia is preparing to move into a senior living community and needed assistance clearing and cleaning his garage and yard. Moving can be physically and emotionally overwhelming, especially later in life. Thanks to caring volunteers from the Rotary Home Team and supporters, we were able to help ease that burden and provide support during this important transition.

A Dream Trip to Graceland

One of this month’s most memorable wishes was for a lifelong Elvis Presley fan who is currently battling stage 4 prostate cancer. He had always dreamed of visiting Graceland but never had the opportunity or financial means to make the trip happen.

This month, that dream became reality.

We were proud to send him on a special journey to Graceland, complete with a VIP tour experience. Moments like these remind us why granting wishes matters so deeply. Creating joy, cherished memories, and meaningful experiences can make an incredible difference during difficult times.

Photos from his unforgettable trip will be shared soon.

Thank You

None of these wishes would be possible without the compassion and generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community supporters. Thank you for helping us continue bringing hope, dignity, and happiness to seniors who need it most.

Together, we are making wishes come true — one senior at a time.
